Scott and I went for a walk yesterday with our backpacks on - I am sure we looked funny, but we are going to look just as funny overseas!! I am happy with my pack, I just have to get used to being a snail (for those of you not understanding the reference - we will be carrying our houses on our backs!)
I am trying to figure out where to have a going away party. I am trying to find a restaurant which is suitable - ie caters for everyone's tastes and budgets, is not too noisy so I can actually talk to people, and is not too far away! So those of you who read this, if you have any suggestions... email me, or post a comment if you do not have my email address. I'd love to hear your ideas!
The next task on our To Do list is to pay off the Contiki tour. Then we will be applying for the pub company. We have pretty much decided on Canterbury as a first choice for that. It sounds like a great place, and is close to Dover for those all important weekend trips to France and Belgium!
